KNOW News Is Good News combines the writing of Tom Lambert and the artistry of Jeff Sanson.

Tom Lambert

Tom Lambert has worked nationally and internationally for corporations, news organizations, advertising agencies, and publishers. His experience in TV news and production includes working as a freelance photographer, assignments editor, writer, and field producer for CBS, NBC, NBC NewsChannel, ABC, KTRK-ABC, KRIV-Fox, TROS, NHK, TF1, ESPN, USA Network, MTV, NASA, and QRS Media. Lambert has also worked as a writer/producer for several corporations and advertising agencies and became interested in developing a comic strip after writing an audio comedy that won a Public Relations Society of America, Gold Excalibur Award.

Originally from Missouri, Lambert lived in several states during his childhood and graduated from the University of New Orleans, where he studied film and education. Of his wife Jane he says, despite favoring “the designated hitter” and daylight saving time, she’s still the most wonderful person he’s ever known.

Jeff Sanson

Jeff Sanson has produced packaging art for Imperial Sugar, Coke Foods, and Minute Maid. His technical art has been incorporated into advertising campaigns to illustrate the technologies of Dow Chemical, Halliburton, Schlumberger, Shell Oil, and Exxon. Sanson has also illustrated three book covers for award-winning, historical fiction author, Brian Utermahlen, and is a successful fine artist, painting Alaskan themed art and other subjects of personal interest.

An Ohio native, Sanson was recognized early as a child prodigy and today is associated with the mid-20th century American art movement that became known as the Romper Room Crayon School. It embodied a group of artists whose aesthetic vision was influenced by Mr. Do Bee and Mr. Don’t Bee. Upon graduating from Syracuse University, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts, he married his high school sweetheart Dawn. He is the proud father of four and chief spoiler of all his grandkids—present and future. He also regularly donates his time and talents to benefit local events, churches, and community organizations.
