K, N, O, W, are the call letters of a TV affiliate in the fictional state capital city of Carny. The comic strip features the station’s news team and their attempts to produce and broadcast news stories despite the dubious characters they must cover and their market share-mad station manager, with whom they engage in a familiar battle: credible journalism vs. expedient commercialism.
